• Familiarize yourself with departmental functions and the manufacturing process

• Contribute meaningfully to performance goals and assigned projects

• Perform other duties as assigned

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in chemical engineering or related field

• Minimum completion of two years or more of college preferred prior to the start of your internship

• Completed at least sophomore plus classes by the start of the co-op term

• Good academic standing with your Engineering major and school

• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

• Able to work 40 hours for the duration for the co-op

• Strong academic background, with a preferred GPA of 3.5 or above  

• Understanding of basic Engineering principles and relevant functions

• Relevant work experience or involvement with professional clubs/organizations

• Possesses an understanding of basic Engineering principles

• Previous experience with manufacturing environments, statistical control, and project management is preferred

• Able to work in an environment without air conditioning

• Ability to read a graph and analyze

• Demonstrates ability to work collaboratively with others as part of a team

• Ability to work effectively both independently and on a team

• Curiosity and problem-solving skills

• Excellent written and oral communication, organizational, time management, analytical, and adaptability skills
