The Maintenance Supervisor oversees and performs technical and mechanical work that ensures the inside and external buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas of the community meet the Company’s standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and overall functionality.

Responsibilities

    High school diploma or equivalent; trade certification or technical training considered an asset.

    3+ years of experience in a residential building maintenance or facilities operations role.

  • →

    Proven experience in a leadership role within the real estate industry.

  • →

    Demonstrated ability to lead by example and work hands-on alongside a maintenance team.

  • →

    Advanced knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general construction, with a background in construction, HVAC, and plumbing highly preferred.

    Strong understanding of the Ontario Fire Code, Building Code, Canadian Electrical Code, Occupational Health and Safety Act, and other relevant legislation.

    Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.

  • →

    Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

  • →

    Ability to create and manage stakeholder relationships.

  • →

    Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing operational demands.

  • →

    Computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software.

  • →

    Knowledge of current market trends and regulatory requirements.

  • →

    Must be able to work a flexible work schedule, which includes taking “call” during evenings, weekends and holidays.

  • Incumbents must be able to work inside and outside in all weather conditions (rain, snow, heat, hail, wind, sleet).

  • Rare or occasional travel may be required to attend business meetings, training programs, or other situations necessary for the accomplishment of some or all of the daily responsibilities of this position.

  • Incumbents must be able to stand, walk and/or sit for extended periods of time and push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights of up to nine (9) kilograms independently and twenty-two (22) kilograms with assistance.

This posting is for a new role.

The salary range for this position is $70,000- $80,000 CAD.
