Pastry and Bakery Commi III

The Commis III assists in the preparation, baking, and presentation of a variety of pastries, breads, cakes, desserts, and other baked products while maintaining the highest standards of quality, hygiene, and food safety. Working under the supervision of the Chef de Partie, Pastry Chef, Sous Chef, or Kitchen-in-Charge, the Commis III supports daily pastry and bakery operations by preparing ingredients, maintaining a clean and organized workstation, and ensuring products are prepared according to established recipes and standards. This entry-level role provides an excellent opportunity to develop fundamental pastry and bakery skills in a professional kitchen environment. Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience as a Pastry & Bakery Commis III or in a similar bakery/pastry role. GCC experience is mandatory Preferably available immediately and currently in Oman. Experience in preparing pastries, breads, cakes, desserts, and bakery products. Basic knowledge of pastry and bakery production techniques. Understanding of food safety, hygiene, HACCP, and sanitation standards. Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of the restaurant’s trading area, English is a must. Availability on nights, weekends and holidays is also usually required if necessary or according to the business needs.
