At Guild Insurance, our Digital team builds and evolves the platforms our customers use every day – from researching products to managing their policies online. We’re looking for a Senior Business Analyst - Digital who brings maturity of thinking, strong stakeholder capability and a genuine customer‑experience lens to help guide both delivery and our BA cohort.
Responsibilities
~1 min readAs a Senior Business Analyst - Digital, you’ll work across customer‑facing digital initiatives, partnering closely with business stakeholders and delivery teams to shape high‑quality solutions. You will:

Own analysis and requirements end‑to‑end – from problem definition through to delivery validation

Engage confidently with senior stakeholders, challenging requirements constructively and managing expectations
- →
Translate business needs into clear, practical functional and technical requirements
- →
Bring a customer and CX lens to solution design, considering usability, accessibility, performance and security
- →
Contribute to solution design for web and digital platforms, working closely with developers and designers
- →
Elicit, document and maintain high‑quality artefacts, including user stories, acceptance criteria and functional specifications, ensuring documentation remains current in tools such as Jira
- →
Actively participate in and contribute to Agile ceremonies, including refinement, sprint planning, showcases and retrospectives
- →
Work closely with Quality Assurance to support test planning, review outcomes and ensure solutions meet agreed requirements
- →
Review delivered outcomes against requirements and customer intent, ensuring solutions solve the right problem
- →
Act as a senior presence with the team, including mentoring other Business Analysts and contributing to the uplift of BA practice and standards
You don’t need to be an expert in everything, but you do need depth of thinking, confidence and ownership. We’re ideally looking for someone who has:

Solid experience as a Business Analyst working on digital or customer‑facing platforms

Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including the confidence to respectfully challenge and negotiate

A demonstrated customer experience mindset (internal or external customers)

Experience working within Agile delivery environments

Exposure to web technologies, digital platforms or portals (depth in every area not required)

The ability to take ownership, speak up when something doesn’t feel right, and see work through to completion

Curiosity, empathy, and a willingness to learn new domains or tools
Nice to Have
