Purchasing Specialist

💰 $22–$26 per hour

Raynor Hawaii Overhead Doors is looking for an outgoing, Purchasing Specialist who will be responsible for purchasing materials, coordinating shipments, managing vendor relationships, and supporting inventory and logistics operations.

This role works closely with Sales, Operations, Warehouse, Accounting, vendors, and freight partners to ensure materials are ordered, shipped, and received accurately and on time.

• →Create and process purchase orders using the ServiceTitan Purchasing Module.
• →Help as we transition to virtual inventory later this year.
• →Develop and maintain purchasing procedures (SOPs) with Operations and Raynor Dixon, IL.
• →Submit approved purchase orders and monitor order status through delivery.
• →Review and distribute order acknowledgements (OAs) for accuracy.
• →Coordinate Raynor container shipments by correctly assigning unit count (as trained) to ensure container reaches full capacity.
• →Coordinate with Pacific Transport for container delivery to Raynor Mfg, shipping to Oahu. Track delivery times and inform team.
• →Arrange container hauling to and from docks on Oahu.
• →Handle all loose non-Raynor doors and parts shipments, including freight quotes, scheduling, tracking, and communication.
• →Prepare and distribute container reports, manifests, and shipment updates.
• →Resolve shortages, discrepancies, and warranty claims.
• →Review receiving documentation and assist in verifying shipments against purchase orders.
• →Work with warehouse personnel on inventory replenishment requests.
• →Review purchase order invoices for accuracy prior to payment.
• →Maintain strong vendor relationships and communicate effectively with internal departments throughout the purchasing process.

• Experience in purchasing, logistics, inventory, or supply chain preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; ServiceTitan experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
