- Strategically manage the warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision.
- Train, orient, coach, discipline and motivate employees.
- Oversee all warehouse staff activities: picking, packing, and staging orders; cleanliness of space; load trucks.
- Dispatching: assess all orders for product and appropriate mode of delivery and schedule deliveries.
- Manage customer service staff if applicable. (Site specific)
- Manage and assist in coordinating efforts between supporting departments within the site.
- Create a productive department through written and verbal communication.
- Project a positive image to peers and subordinates; to the customers we serve to the industry in which we participate, and to the community in which we live by producing a cost-efficient, quality product in a productive environment.
- Coordinate needed support to operations areas through intradepartmental interface for smooth workflow and cost-efficient product.
- Continuously improve customer satisfaction through programs to reduce delinquencies, provide for on-time delivery, and meet customer quality and cost expectations. Actively seek customer interfaces to communicate and facilitate customer needs within the organization.
- Provide a leadership role in the integration of efforts within operations, quality, and engineering for the effective introduction of new quality systems and technology within operations.
- Responsible for workplace health and safety standards and for the security of the staff, building, and stock.
- Work with the corporate Compliance Department to administer and manage the organization’s safety and quality to provide an adequate and safe working environment.
- Ensure timely processing of system information and proper documentation concerning inventory transactions (shipments, transfers, receipts, changes in cost/price, etc.).
- Actively manage inventory onsite established by management.
- Oversee employee compliance with all Federal, State and Local ordinances, as well as Company policies and programs.

- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Two to three years of warehouse management work experience, distribution and forklift driving experience preferred.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:
- Must have a current and valid driver’s license. (Site specific)
- Forklift certification required or ability to obtain certification.
- Knowledge of production methods, techniques and related equipment. (Production site specific)
- Knowledge of production scheduling and plant operations. (Production site specific)
- Strong leadership, problem solving, excellent verbal and writing communication and decision-making skills.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and project management skills including the ability to work against pressing deadlines.
- Working knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to work independently.
- The use of a computer and phone – Must be able to see, type, write, finger, grasp, and sit; must be able to use a mobile phone
- Communicating with internal and external customers – must be able to talk, hear, see, and comprehend.
- Mobility of arms – Must be able to reach and use arms to manipulate small objects.
- Mobility inside the office and warehouse to access filing cabinets, office machines, and supplies – must be able to move about the office space, stand for extended period of time, reach, bend, and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds.
- The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- Work is routinely performed in office environment and in a general warehouse environment on a concrete surface environment with frequent exposure to both internal and external environment.
- Occasionally, may be exposed to noise levels that exceed a normal threshold.
