Food Stores Stock Controller / Food Stores Receiver / Food Stores Manager

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Food Stores Leader to oversee our inventory operations. You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of our stock, maintaining rigorous hygiene standards, and leading a team of store attendants to support our culinary excellence. Conduct regular spot checks and reconcile physical stock with digital records. Prepare monthly reports on slow-moving items, assist with periodic full-stock counts, as well as performing any other duties required to ensure the smooth operation of the department.

• Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages. Proactively manage chill boxes and freezers to minimize spoilage and ensure first-in, first-out (FIFO) rotation.
• Prepare weekly marketing and purchase lists. Conduct price comparisons with competitors to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Delegate duties to store attendants, conduct pre-shift meetings, and oversee the preparation of high-standard fruit basket requests.
• Maintain strict temperature logs for all refrigeration units. Create and enforce cleaning schedules for storage areas and crates.
• Ensure all requisitions are properly signed and authorized. Maintain up-to-date bin cards and organized filing systems.
