Registered NUrse- Hospice (Manage)

In accordance with the hospice mission statement, ACES standards and Cornerstone behaviors, the Clinical Manager is responsible to coordinate, supervise, plan, organize, staff and direct the care of the patient, Bereavement Services and/or Volunteer Services on a daily operational basis.  Functions within the standards, policies, procedures and guidelines of Halifax Health and the hospice system. Meets all state and federal regulations. The Clinical Manager is responsible that the assigned teams offer high quality, efficient and fiscally responsible services that add value to hospice, supporting its mission.  The Clinical Manager is expected to support administration through collaboration and attendance of various meetings and community functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred, from school of nursing or health and public affairs school of social work

  • Currently licensed to practice in the State of Florida by discipline

  • Minimum of three years recent and relevant clinical leadership experience required; preferably in hospice

  • Effective communication and customer service skills

  • Evidence of effective leadership and management abilities
