This position supervises the Training Manager.

• Bachelor’s degree related to HR, Organizational Development, Engineering, or related field. Advance degree preferred
• 10+ years in workforce development, ideally in shipbuilding, maritime, or heavy manufacturing.
• Experience with apprenticeships, NAVSEA/DoD compliance, and technical training curriculum.
• Knowledge of production trades and certifications (AWS, etc.).
• Strong partnership-building and leadership skills.

Environmental exposures are similar to those found in most heavy industrial settings and may include noise, heat, cold, vibration, dust, fumes and smoke. Work may be executed indoors or outdoors and may involve exposure to inclement weather conditions.
