Children's Ministry Assistant - Maui

The Harvest Kids Ministry Assistant supports the weekly Harvest Kids ministry by helping provide a safe, welcoming, organized, and Christ-centered environment for children during scheduled services and programs. This position assists with classroom care and supervision, helps implement the weekly lesson and activities, and supports the overall needs of the classroom. The Harvest Kids Ministry Assistant should be dependable, attentive, flexible, and able to work well with children, families, staff, and volunteers.

• Assist with and/or lead Harvest Kids classroom environments as assigned.
• Provide appropriate supervision, care, and leadership for children during scheduled Harvest Kids services and programs.
• Implement assigned Harvest Kids lessons, activities, and weekly curriculum.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment.
• Welcome and interact appropriately with children and families.
• Work alongside Harvest Kids staff and volunteers to help ensure classroom needs are met and services run smoothly.
• Demonstrate a working knowledge of God’s Word and model Christ-like character when interacting with children, families, volunteers, and staff.
• Follow Harvest Kids policies, procedures, safety guidelines, and ministry expectations.
• Assist with basic classroom setup, cleanup, and other weekly classroom needs as assigned.
• Must be 18 years old or older to apply.
• Salary Range: $16.90 to $18.00 per hour.
