Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Support recruitment and outreach efforts to attract qualified nursing applicants.
- →Manage pre-nursing student enrollment, progression, and student selection processes for the undergraduate BSN program.
- →Provide academic advising and support for approximately 300-350 pre-nursing students.
- →Monitor student progress and implement strategies that promote retention, progression, and graduation.
- →Coordinate initial student readiness requirements for clinical participation upon acceptance into the BSN program.
- →Provide a smooth handoff of clinical readiness to the Undergraduate Clinical Placement Coordinator role upon student enrollment into the BSN Program’s first-semester courses.
- →Analyze enrollment and student success data to support continuous improvement and strategic decision-making.
- →Collaborate with faculty and campus partners to enhance the student experience and academic success.
- →Participate in accreditation activities, assessment initiatives, and regulatory compliance efforts.
- →Represent the School of Nursing at recruitment events, orientations, and university programs.
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required.
- Minimum of two years of experience in healthcare, higher education, student affairs, nursing education, or a related field.
- Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment, manage complex student situations, and maintain confidentiality.
- Commitment to student success and the mission of Christian higher education.
The successful candidate will be a mature and experienced professional with exceptional communication and organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. This individual must be comfortable navigating challenging student conversations with professionalism, empathy, and consistency while maintaining high standards and supporting student achievement. The role requires independent decision-making, strong relationship-building skills, and a commitment to fostering student success within a Christ-centered academic community.
This exempt position plays a critical role in supporting enrollment, retention, progression, accreditation compliance, and overall student success within the Dunham School of Nursing.
