ComForCare Home Care - Contra Costa West is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/CNA to join their team in Orinda, CA. Responsibilities:

Provide direct personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting assistance
Monitor and document client health status, reporting any changes to the care team
Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure client safety
Prepare meals and assist with feeding according to dietary needs and preferences
Administer medication reminders and support medication management routines
Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment
Offer companionship and emotional support to promote client well-being

Requirements:

Active CNA certification or verifiable experience as a professional caregiver
Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, or weekends as needed
Experience with personal care, ADLs, and transfers in a home or facility setting
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a client-centered approach
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
Must pass background check and provide verifiable references
