The Sr. Training Specialist partners with operational SMEs and leaders to design, develop, deliver, and evaluate learning solutions that improve employee performance, speed to proficiency, and support business objectives within Luminare Health. The role requires consulting with stakeholders to identify performance gaps, conduct training needs analyses, create engaging instructor-led and digital learning experiences, and measure learning effectiveness. The Senior Training Specialist serves as a learning and development expert who drives instructional excellence, continuous improvement, and operational readiness across the organization.

Required Job Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience in learning & development, instructional design, training design, organizational development, performance consulting, or related field

OR equivalent combination of education and experience

Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies

Experience designing and delivering instructor-led and virtual learning programs

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and consultation skills

Ability to adapt to change and influence others through organizational transformation

Ability to collaborate with operational leaders, SMEs, and business partners

Proficiency in Microsoft 365

Strong written, verbal, facilitation, and presentation skills

Experience managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

Ability to work independently with minimum supervision

Available for travel

Preferred Job Qualifications:

Experience conducting training needs analyses

Strong written, verbal, facilitation, and presentation skills

Healthcare, benefits administration, insurance, or TPA experience

Experience in technical writing and/or editing

Experience in curriculum development

Ability to conduct needs assessment and provide a documented process improvement plan

Experience measuring learning effectiveness and business outcomes

Experience with developing eLearning solutions with Articulate Storyline, Rise, Vyond, Captivate, or similar authoring tools

Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS)

CPTD, ATD, instructional design certification, or similar professional credential

This position may be performed remotely from anywhere within the continental United States, excluding California, New York, Alaska, and Hawaii.

The compensation offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan subject to the terms and the conditions of the plan.

$49,500.00 - $92,800.00
