About the Role

~1 min read

Our company is looking for a Quality Manager who doesn't just want to enforce standards, but to actually improve how we operate.

We have a strong foundation, but we know we can be more consistent, efficient, and data-driven. You won't just be handed a checklist; you'll have the autonomy to assess our current processes, identify the gaps that cause the most friction, and build practical, lasting solutions that our teams will actually want to follow.

We value professionals who are as skilled at solving problems as they are at spotting them. Your success won't be measured by how many audits you conduct, but by how much smoother and more predictable our operations become.

As Quality Manager, you will take ownership of assigned quality initiatives and work across departments to improve consistency, efficiency, performance, and customer outcomes.

You will serve as a trusted resource to operational leadership, helping identify quality risks, investigate recurring issues, establish corrective actions, and develop sustainable improvements.

Responsibilities

~1 min read
  • Develop and maintain practical quality standards, procedures, and controls.
  • Monitor quality performance and identify trends, risks, and areas requiring attention.
  • Establish and track quality objectives and key performance indicators.
  • Ensure teams understand and consistently follow established quality requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce errors, and eliminate recurring problems.
  • Lead root-cause analysis and corrective-action initiatives.
  • Develop practical solutions and monitor their effectiveness.
  • Partner with teams to implement improvements and ensure changes are sustained.
  • Conduct or coordinate quality reviews, assessments, and internal audits.
  • Monitor compliance with applicable company, contractual, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain appropriate quality documentation and records.
  • Support external audits and customer quality requirements when applicable.
  • Analyze quality data and prepare clear reports for leadership.
  • Develop dashboards and performance measurements where appropriate.
  • Communicate quality issues, trends, and recommendations to management.
  • Use data to identify opportunities for operational improvement.
  • Work closely with operations, project management, technology, and business teams.
  • Provide guidance and support when quality issues arise.
  • Facilitate quality reviews and improvement initiatives.
  • Build strong working relationships across departments and influence positive change.
  • Monitor quality expectations for applicable vendors and service providers.
  • Review vendor performance and help resolve recurring quality issues.
  • Collaborate with external partners to establish appropriate quality standards.

We are looking for someone who is analytical, organized, accountable, and comfortable taking ownership.

You should be able to identify a problem, determine its underlying cause, communicate the issue clearly, develop a practical solution, and work with others to implement it.

Requirements

~1 min read
  • 5+ years of professional experience in quality management, quality assurance, operations, process improvement, compliance, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience managing quality or continuous-improvement initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of quality-management principles and corrective-action processes.
  • Experience analyzing performance data and identifying trends.
  • Strong problem-solving and root-cause-analysis skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively with both operational teams and senior leadership.
  • Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Operations, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • Lean Six Sigma, ASQ, or comparable professional certification.
  • Experience working with quality-management systems or ISO-based processes.
  • Experience developing quality KPIs, dashboards, and performance reports.
  • Experience in technology, SaaS, healthcare, construction, facilities, or other complex operational environments.
  • Experience managing vendors or third-party service providers.

The Quality Manager will report directly to the Director of Operations and will work closely with operational leaders, project managers, technology teams, business-unit leaders, and other stakeholders.

This position will have meaningful ownership of quality initiatives and will be expected to provide leadership with clear, data-driven recommendations.

During your first 12 months, you'll be expected to deliver measurable change, including:

  • Relationship Building: Forge trusted partnerships with operational leaders and frontline teams to understand their real-world challenges.
  • Process Assessment: Conduct a comprehensive review of our current quality framework and deliver a prioritized roadmap of improvement opportunities.
  • Metrics that Matter: Design and implement a dashboard that tracks the KPIs that actually drive business performance, not just compliance checkboxes.
  • Problem Resolution: Lead the root-cause analysis on our top recurring quality issues and implement corrective actions that eliminate them.
  • Audit Readiness: Overhaul our documentation and record-keeping to ensure we are audit-ready at all times.
  • Measurable Impact: Reduce process variance in key operational areas and establish a continuous-improvement culture that outlasts your first year.
