Neurohospitalist Needed in Hartford County, CT | Academic Teaching & Comprehensive Stroke Resources

Healthcare United is seeking a BE/BC Neurohospitalist for a full-time role in the Wethersfield Area, Connecticut. Provide inpatient Neurology and resident/APP supervision in a tertiary academic setting with comprehensive Stroke resources. Overview Specialty: Neurology Location: Wethersfield Area, Connecticut Practice Setting: Tertiary academic hospital with Comprehensive Stroke services Work Schedule: Approximately 24 inpatient coverage weeks annually. Each runs from Monday at 7 a.m. to the following Monday at 7 a.m. Call / Coverage: Shared evening call during coverage weeks Support Staff / Resources: Neurology subspecialists, Hospitalists, ICU teams, trainees, and APPs Compensation: Competitive compensation. What You Can Expect Cover General Neurology and consultation services; evaluate patients in inpatient, emergency, observation, and ICU settings as appropriate. Teach students, residents, fellows, and APPs through bedside supervision and Neurology education activities. Research, quality improvement, and leadership opportunities may be available.
