Thank you for your interest in exploring internal opportunities. You must identify the specific position you’re interested in. You will need to locate the requisition number for the role on UMMC’s website or identify the job title and hiring manager.


Please note, you are limited to one requisition number within a six-month period.


Please provide either the requisition number or the job title and hiring manager name for the role you would like to pursue. We are not able to identify or research hiring managers on your behalf, and we do not distribute employee profiles broadly to departments. You must have a specific role and area of interest in mind when requesting a transfer.


Please note that internal transfer requests should reflect a genuine interest in a particular position and align with your skills and career goals. Meeting eligibility requirements does not guarantee placement or transfer. You will be required to interview for the requested position, just as external candidates do.


If you are offered and accept a new role, you are required to notify your current manager and provide a minimum 30-day notice before transitioning.


As a reminder, all candidates are considered based on qualifications and business needs.

Requirements

  • Employees must be in their current position for a minimum of 6 months. 
  • Employees must be in good standing in their current role. 
  • Employees are solely responsible for identifying the hiring manager and job title or the requisition number from the UMMC job site. Requests without this information will not be considered. 
  • Employees must notify their current manager upon receiving a job offer and confirming intent to transfer. 
  • A minimum 30-day notice is required and must be fulfilled prior to transitioning to a new role.
