We are currently hiring at:

Roaring Brook Elementary School
Grafflin Elementary School
Westorchard Elementary School

Afternoon Hours: 2:50 PM–6:00 PM
Days: Monday–Friday, following the school calendar
Flexible weekday availability may be considered
Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday availability is especially needed!

Responsibilities

→Lead and participate in fun, hands-on activities using the Healthy Kids Curriculum, including fitness, STEAM, arts and crafts, academic enrichment, and group games.
→Create a safe, welcoming, and positive environment for children.
→Encourage teamwork, creativity, confidence, and social development.
→Serve as a positive role model while supporting children's individual needs.
→Follow New York State regulations, Healthy Kids Programs policies, and host school guidelines.
→Assist with daily program operations, including attendance and other assigned responsibilities.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent, OR at least 1 year of experience working with children under the age of 13.
Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Dependable, professional, and committed to providing quality care.
Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children throughout the day.
