Our current prototype, Polaris, has reached record-breaking plasma temperatures of 150 million degrees Celsius (13 keV). Helion's pace depends on electrical teams that ship hardware fast without ever compromising safety at multi-megajoule energies. As a manager, you build and lead the team designing the pulsed-power circuits at the core of the machine — capacitor banks, switching, and protection. Your job is to make that team excellent: to grow engineers, set technical direction, and turn ambitious designs into commissioned hardware.

  Lead and grow a team of electrical engineers designing high-voltage and pulsed-power circuits.

  Own technical direction, execution, and delivery for your team's hardware.

  Coach, develop, and hire engineers; build a strong, fast, and safe engineering culture.

  Partner across mechanical, controls, systems, and test teams to deliver integrated hardware.

  Balance iteration speed with the rigor and safety that high-energy systems demand.

• A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

• Significant electrical engineering experience, including power electronics or high-voltage circuit design.

• People leadership experience (typically 2+ years managing engineers), and a track record of delivering complex electrical hardware.

• Strong technical judgment and the ability to lead engineers who are experts in their domains.

• Experience with pulsed power, capacitor banks, or high-voltage systems, and with fast-paced hardware development or early-stage team-building, is an asset.
