Batch Plant Coordinator

The company offers the opportunity to those who wish to express interest in the position of “Batch Plant Coordinator”, for its premises in Chalkidiki. The position will be reported to the Pastefill & Batch Plant Superintendent of the Capital Projects department in Skouries.

• →Develop and communicate the concrete batch plant schedule to produce and dispatch concrete mixes as required by operational departments 

• →Liaise with external contractors to coordinate and engage concrete trucks and pumps as required by operational departments to execute field work 

• →Monitor raw material inventory and requirements for batching (cement, aggregates, admixtures and water), raise the necessary purchase orders, coordinate closely with Supply Chain to ensure timely availability and delivery to site, and report any actual or anticipated shortages in a timely manner. 

• →Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and address shortages in a timely manner. 

• →Support continuous improvement initiatives related to productivity, quality, and safety. 

·        High School certificate.

·        Typically, 1–3 years of experience in construction with exposure to a concrete batch plant and coordination tasks. 

·        Prior experience in construction materials, ready-mix concrete, or aggregates operations is an advantage.

·        Knowledge of scheduling and batching processes. 

·        Knowledge of raising purchase requisitions in SAP.  

·        Ability to generate batch plant schedules in Microsoft excel.  

·        An ability to multi task and at times work under pressure. 

·        Ability to work within a team environment.
