Composites Tech I

• →While using scissors, stir sticks, and razor blades, the Composites Technician may be responsible for molding carbon fiber material utilizing the bagging process to mold parts.
• →Breaking Out / Demolding cured parts
• →Responsible for utilizing hand tools, such as a handheld grinder, to shape/trim parts and molds to specifications
• →Always maintain a clean and organized work environment
• →Prepare Molds and pre-preg patterns for Production
• →Lamination of Composites components following drawings and or Lay-Up manuals
• →Preparing Laminated parts for Autoclave or Oven Curing utilizing vacuum bagging techniques
• →Loading and unloading Autoclaves
• →Adhering to tight deadlines while maintaining high quality standards
• →Pro-Active in parts development and improvements
• →Trimming / Finishing / Assembly of Composites Parts

• Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal
• IT Literate

• Mechanical aptitude, including knowledge of operating basic hand tools, is required. Ability to work safely with Composite materials and other related chemicals.
