Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Supply and operate welding systems, plasma cutters and make adjustments as needed
- →Lay out, position, and tack-weld parts to secure for welding
- →Perform preventive maintenance on assigned equipment
- →Meet established production standards
- →Conduct required quality checks using basic measuring equipment
- →Accurately report daily activities on work orders and Kanban cards and other media as required
- →Keep machine and work areas clean and free of safety hazards
- →Exercise and promote safe working habits
- →Comply with Quality Management System
- →Maintain regular attendance
- High school diploma or GED
- Read and understand blueprints with geometric tolerance.
- Must pass Hendrickson weld test -2G or be a certified welder
- Be able to physically lift 65 lbs
- Ability to safely operate lift equipment, including forklift
- Must be able to read and write legibly.
- Must be able to meet production standards and follow instructions.
- Good attendance record is required
- Requires strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
