As a deep tech company, our engineering team solves some of the hardest problems in data integration, scale, and reliability. We’re looking for a Senior Technical Recruiter who goes beyond keyword matching. We want someone who can understand the technology, assess candidates based on their past technical projects/work, and match them to the role we’re hiring for.

Partner with engineering leaders to understand what a great candidate for that role looks like in each technical role (SDE-4, Staff Engineer, Principal Engineer).

Evaluate candidate fitment by reviewing their past work, technical contributions, and problem-solving approaches.

Conduct structured technical conversations to pre-assess candidates before formal interviews.

Build and nurture long-term pipelines of deep-tech engineers in Backend, Frontend, DevOps, and Data Infra.

Apply a systematic approach to target, network and engage with passive talent pools.

Deliver an engaging candidate experience and be the brand ambassador for Hevo in this community of users.

10+ years of technical recruiting experience with a focus on senior engineering roles.

Ability to understand engineering depth—you don’t need to code, but you should be able to evaluate whether a backend engineer has built for scale, or if a DevOps engineer has automated infra at complexity.

Track record of closing Staff/Principal-level hires at product or deep-tech companies.

Ability to assess candidates beyond resumes—by understanding their technical impact and role fit.

Excellent storytelling skills to articulate Hevo’s vision to top engineers.

Passion for technology and curiosity to dive into systems design, distributed infra, and cutting-edge data problems.

Build the Force that Builds the Future of Data: At Hevo, we’re solving one of the hardest problems in data: building a reliable, scalable backbone for modern analytics. Your role is to assemble the team that makes this possible.

Solve Hard Talent Problems: We’re hiring SDE-4 to Principal Engineers in domains where top talent is scarce. You’ll lead the challenge of finding and convincing these engineers to join a fast-rising deep-tech product company.

Partner with Engineering Leadership: You’ll work shoulder-to-shoulder with our founders and senior engineering leaders, not only to hire but to influence role design, bar-setting, and long-term team structure.

Build a Talent Brand in the Data Space: Hevo is competing with companies globally. You’ll play a key role in building Hevo’s reputation among senior engineers through outreach, positioning, and community presence.

Mentor TA Function: Coach and develop junior recruiters, embedding technical fluency and systematic hiring practices that will scale with Hevo.
