Case Aide

Hope For Youth is looking to hire a Case Aide for our Therapeutic Foster Care Program in Amityville! Hope For Youth is a nonprofit organization striving to provide positive outcomes for children, adolescents, and families for over 50 years.

1. Function within the policies and procedures as outlined in the program practice guide and employee manual
2. Assist casework and home finding staff in daily activities as assigned
3. Achieve positive outcomes for clients as part of a team
4. Complete all necessary reports, paperwork and forms as outlined in the program guide
5. Adhere to state regulations and applicable code of conduct
6. Perform other resulting and necessary work to meet the needs and requirements of the clients, the program, Hope For Youth, oversight agency and any other agency and regulatory obligations

1. 90% General responsibilities such as conducting/supervising visits; transporting youth to/from appointments, school, foster home; completing documentation; maintaining records; scheduling appointments; and casework items as assigned.

   10% Staff meetings/supervision/training

1. A High School Diploma or GED
2. A Valid NYS Driver's License in good standing
3. Computer Knowledge
4. Fluent in English/Spanish preferred
5. Physical Requirements: read/write reports and log entries, walking/standing/sitting for prolonged periods, bending/stooping, kneeling/squatting, climbing stairs, reaching overhead, repetitive wrist/finger movements, ongoing access to reliable vehicle and driving own vehicle for work (mileage reimbursement available)
