OB/GYN Hospitalist

Hartford HealthCare (HHC), the most comprehensive, integrated health care system in CT, has an outstanding opportunity for a BE/BC OB-GYN to provide services at Hartford Hospital. Join an 868-bed tertiary academic center and the flagship hospital for Hartford HealthCare, a $4 billion health system and the second largest employer in CT. 

Some highlights of the OB Hospitalist opportunity include:

·       Providing call coverage and L&D support

·       Caring for inpatient OB and GYN patients

·       Providing OB and GYN consultations on the floor and Emergency Department

·       Overseeing residents, fellows, midwives or advanced practice nurses

·       Member and leader of the OB Rapid Response Team

·       Member of patient safety and quality review committees

·       Implementing quality programs and evidence-based medicine

·       Extensive support from OB/GYN subspecialties, including Maternal Fetal Medicine, Urogynecology, Gynecologic Oncology, and Minimally Invasive Gynecology

·       Hartford Hospital is a Level 1 Trauma Center and a Level 4 NICU. We the largest of three sites responsible for the training of the 40 UConn OB-GYN residents

·       12 hour and 24 hour shifts available
