Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Assisting patients on their journey to recovery from substance use disorders.
- →Provide noninvasive medical care- medical management to evaluate and assess patient’s level of withdrawal using evidence-based protocols.
- →Physically low-impact position where the patients are mostly able to manage their own ADLs and ambulation.
- →Work as a 2-3 person nursing team to provide care coordination and case management.
- →Assure patient care meets best practice standards utilizing nursing skills, experience to maintain a safe and therapeutic milieu.
- →Medication administration, count and register.
- →Provide thorough, accurate and complete documentation of treatment and care in the Electronic Health Record.
- →Monitor, assess and treat patient conditions appropriately.
- →Other duties as assigned.
