Project Manager

Highland Roofing is growing, and we're looking for a Project Manager to join our Charlotte team. The position will oversee projects for commercial new construction, replacement roofing, and coating/restoration projects. What will you do?

• Oversee production projects including creation of start packets, materials buyouts, labor subcontracts, project scheduling, etc.
• Work closely with construction managers to ensure projects run smoothly and on schedule.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely material, equipment, and tools deliveries.
• Prepare and submit change orders; manage warranty callbacks.
• Analyze completed projects to compare estimated costs to actual costs and determine reasons for discrepancies.
• Review jobs after close-out to determine overall job performance.
• Proactively work with the executive team on improving/streamlining processes and workflows.
• Maintain an awareness of the department's productivity & profitability goals and work with dept. manager to meet and exceed those goals.

Requirements:

• 3+ years' experience in project management
• Knowledgeable of a variety of commercial roofing systems
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and with minimal management
• Strong time management and organization skills
• Ability to multi-task while working in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent presentation, communication, writing, and listening skills
