We are seeking a talented and driven Financial Intermediary Intern to join our team. You will be working alongside a team of talented colleagues from other markets, businesses and functions to provide you with the opportunity to take your career to the next level. This is a contract-to-hire role, offering the right candidate the opportunity to grow with us. Job Description: As a Financial Intermediary Intern, you will support our business development, loan origination, customer relationship management, lead generation, and new client acquisition efforts. You will manage and maintain relationships with clients by earning trust, thoroughly understanding their needs, providing targeted advice, developing thoughtful solutions and delivering an exceptional client experience. You will also generate business results and acquire new assets, both from existing client base and new client acquisition and you will strictly adhere to all risk and control policies, regulatory guidelines and security measures. Requirements Responsibilities: International Private Money Lending: Assist in international lending processes, from loan origination to transaction execution. Cross-Border Transactions: Connect with clients across the world to facilitate international financial transactions. Capital Market Understanding: Develop a broad understanding of the global capital markets to support our lending operations. Business Development: Assist in identifying potential business opportunities and developing strategies for growth. Relationship Management: Manage and maintain relationships with international clients, understanding their financial needs and delivering exceptional service. Risk Management: Strictly adhere to all risk and control policies, regulatory guidelines, and security measures to ensure the integrity of financial operations. Qualifications: Previous work experience in Private Banking or Financial Services (for context, please note that this internship is open to candidates who may not meet this experience requirement). Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA, JD, CFA, or CFP preferred. Proven sales success and strong business acumen. Proactive, takes initiative, and uses critical thinking to solve problems. Demonstrates strong organizational skills and applies a disciplined and organized approach throughout their work. Preferred Qualifications: Dynamic and credible professional who communicates with clarity and has exceptional presentation skills. Experience or demonstrated understanding of investments, wealth planning, credit, and banking concepts. In-depth knowledge of the equity and fixed income markets and alternative investments. Knowledge of Hedge Funds, Private Equity, and international markets and stocks. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.
