Communications Specialist (Temporary/육아휴직대체)

• You will lead event planning and execution, such as customer events, exhibitions and act as Korea’s brand manager and ensure all branding placement to comply with company guidelines.

• You will prepare Korea-related press releases tailored to local audiences, including original Korean content as well as localized adaptations of global and regional announcements as required.

• You will coordinate with the PR agency to distribute press releases and ensure timely publication on company websites and relevant channels.

• You will follow up with media contacts, monitor press coverage, and prepare coverage reports also serve as the primary point of contact for media inquiries, including coordinating and handling journalist requests and interviews.

• You support communications with key customers and partner companies also prepare statements, Q&A documents, and support materials for issues and crisis communication, support relationship build-up with embassies and relevant institutions across Korea.

• You will manage and update Hitachi Energy Korea’s internal and external websites as needed also draft, localize and schedule social media posts.

• You will lead internal communications to engage local employees via internal channels, e.g. internal announcements, town halls.

• You will be responsible for ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

• Living Hitachi Energy’s core values safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

• You hold a bachelor’s degree in communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field is preferred.

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in communications, media relations, marketing communications, or a related field.

• Demonstrated experience supporting cross‑functional communications activities across digital channels, editorial content, branding, and internal communications.

• Experience in working at an international and cross‑cultural environment.

• Fluency in both English and Korean in writing and speaking.
