We are now looking for a dedicated HSE Specialist to join our Service organization in Madrid. In this role, you will support our Local Service Unit by driving a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with Hitachi Energy standards, and enabling continuous improvement across our operations. You will work closely with managers, technicians, and global HSE functions to strengthen learning, prevent incidents, and enhance overall HSE performance.

Promote a proactive HSE culture by guiding employees and managers in daily HSE decisions.
Lead and support incident reporting, investigations, and followup on lessons learned.
Conduct internal HSE audits and ensure compliance with Hitachi Energy standards and local legal requirements.
Analyze HSE performance using digital tools (PowerBI, Intelex) to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Facilitate risk assessments, training activities, and ensure appropriate HSE tools and equipment are available and used.
Drive implementation of HSE programs, initiatives and progress toward key HSE objectives and KPIs.
Minimum 8 years of HSE experience within industrial, service, or technical environments.
Certified Occupational Health and Safety Professional holding a Master's Degree in Occupational Risk Prevention, with accredited qualifications in all three mandatory specialities:
o Occupational Safety
o Industrial Hygiene
o Ergonomics and Psychosocial Risk Prevention
The qualification must be officially recognized and valid for the performance of Occupational Risk Prevention functions in Spain.
Experience in construction projects or electrical construction projects
Strong understanding of incident management, risk assessments, and regulatory compliance.
Ability to coach, train, and support managers and employees in HSE topics.
Confidence in working with data, dashboards, and digital HSE systems (PowerBI, Intelex or similar).
Structured, proactive, and comfortable working in a fastpaced environment with shifting priorities.
Fluent in English and Spanish is mandatory;
