IT Application Support Engineer

• →Administrate and support IT Production Systems to include Line Side Labeling, Traceability, IoT, and other systems as assigned.
• →Support for report and dashboard creation to include an understanding of the underlying data, data structure, and business terminology. Using a variety of BI tools to include SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services), Tableau, Power BI and others as applicable.
• →Provide support to monitor, troubleshoot and tune existing databases.
• →Provide support to troubleshoot existing programs to resolve issues.
• →Provide technical support for in-house developed systems.
• →Perform testing of programming development.
• →Assist in creating, maintaining, and testing the Disaster Recovery Plan.

• →Incumbents may be routinely exposed to equipment operational noise, heat, cold, and dust.
• →Incumbents may be required to stand, sit, squat, walk, bend, move, reach, or stretch for prolonged periods with no restrictions, as required by job duties.
• →Work in a safe and professional manner while adhering to all regulatory requirements (OSHA, EPA, State and Federal regulations, etc.).
• →Read, hear, speak, and see with no restrictions, as required by job duties.
• →Comprehend and adhere to management directions and/or safety instructions with no restrictions.
• →Effectively communicate in Business English language.
• →Pull, push, carry, lift, or move items up to 10 lbs. throughout the work shift without assistance, as required by job duties.
• →Pull, push, carry, lift or move materials/people/items/equipment weighing up to 50lbs or more during the work shift, with the use of Company provided “reach assistance technology” or “movement assist technology” (fork-lifts, pallet jacks, pulleys, dolly’s, robotics reach equipment, etc.), as required by job duties.  

• Ability to solve complex problems through analysis to propose and implement appropriate countermeasures based on timing, quality, and cost.
• Effective communication skills (written and oral) and problem-solving.
• Demonstrated self-starter to complete tasks promptly and with minimal direction. Self-directed and motivated when given objectives.
• Strong individual performer and a strong member when working within a team environment.

• Working knowledge of business systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in programming languages to support end-user reporting requirements.
• Understanding of Microsoft-based productivity software.
• Working knowledge of SQL Databases & basic network configuration
• Working Knowledge of IT Hardware and Software
