We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Trades professional to join our Adelaide (Regency Park) team. In this permanent full-time role, your core focus will be the planning and execution of allocated machining operations. We are looking for someone with:

• Ability to operate Lathes / Mills / Vertical Borer;
• CNC Knowledge would be an advantage;
• Experience machining medium to large components;

Reporting to the workshop supervisor, main responsibilities include:

• Reviewing work orders, blueprint, machining parameters etc, interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
• Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work-pieces.
• Maintain specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing operations.
• Ensuring Quality Assurance by taking measurements, detecting malfunctions, troubleshooting processes and adjusting and reprogramming controls.
• Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements.

• A commitment to working in a safe manner, abiding by all safety processes and procedures
• Have relevant Australian or Australian Recognised trade qualifications such as Fitter & Turner or Fitter Machinist
• Intermediate Computer skills
• Understanding of Safe Operating Procedures
• Commitment to quality and the concepts of continuous improvement
