Principal Embedded C/C++ Engineer

The Opportunity

Principal Embedded C/C++ Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing software that runs on embedded systems with constrained resources such as microcontrollers, real‑time processors, and custom hardware platforms. The role combines strong C/C++ expertise with deep understanding of hardware, real‑time constraints, low‑level debugging, and system integration.

How you’ll make impact

• Design, implement, and maintain embedded software using modern C/C++

• Develop firmware for microcontrollers, embedded Linux systems, or RTOS‑based platforms.

• Perform debugging using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, JTAG/SWD tools, and software debuggers

• Write robust, maintainable, and testable code following best practices and coding standards.

• Integrate with real‑time operating systems or bare‑metal environments.

• Work closely with hardware engineers to understand schematics, interfaces, and constraints.

Your background

• Solid understanding of embedded systems, microcontrollers, memory models, and low-level programming concepts

  demonstrated through at least 10 years of professional experience in embedded software development.

• Experience with openWRT

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset.

• Strong debugging skills across hardware and software layers.

• Knowledge of build systems and toolchains

• Ownership mentality and focus on quality and reliability.

• Scripting knowledge (Python, Bash)
