Project Lead Engineer - Electrical(Capacitor Bank)

As a Project engineer, you will create and modify customer-specific solutions based on our standard designs to fulfill customer requirements. The complexity of projects will vary greatly, from basic designs to complex design solutions. Order Design Engineer would be fully responsible from an engineering point of view for the orders executed. Coordinate with other cross functions like Project Management, Design engineers, and secondary designs for design aspects.

Act as a technical leader for PQP for your customer orders and countries responsible.

• Able to understand circuit diagrams/schematics prepared for customer orders.
• Able to perform capacitors and filter relevant calculations and suggest to customers/design engineers
• Able to review primary and secondary drawings and guide design engineers
• Review customer specifications at order design stage.
• Generating BOM in ERP of products for customer orders by working with relevant stakeholders.
• Able to understand Mechanical design/drawings made in 3D design tool, we use Creo.
• Work closely with Design engineers and secondary engineers for reviewing the 2D and 3D drawings before submitting the same to customers.
• Support queries from the Production team on technical queries raised.
• Support to various cross functions like SCM, project management and quality for understanding the customer requirements and specifications in case required.
• Coordinating with customer & project management team for attending the queries and ensuring the engineering drawings are approval in time.
• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

• Directly responsible for maintaining and updating the documentation for respective projects as per quality process.

* Knowledge of LV/MV/HV Capacitors and Filters

*Years of experience: 4 – 6 years with bachelor’s in electrical engineering

* Knowledge of relevant International standards ex. IEEE, IEC etc.

* Proficiency in ERP software is added advantage.

* Understanding Manufacturing Drawings & Electrical Schematics.

* Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal and writing skills.
