WA Service Coordinator

H-E Parts International Crushing Solutions Pty Ltd is a major supplier of crushing and equipment, spare parts and wear products, remanufactured components, and consumables to the global mining, quarrying and heavy construction industries throughout Australia, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.  A subsidiary of the H-E Parts International Group and part of Hitachi Construction Machinery Co. Ltd, we have branches in WA, Queensland, and NSW.

We are seeking applications for the position of WA Service Coordinator to join our Site Service’s team based at our Naval Base Office.

The position will report directly through to the WA Production & Service Manager and will provide operational and technical oversight to the Site Service’s team and will be responsible to carry out business development activities in collaboration with the WA Sales Department, existing and potential clients.

• →Coordinate the Site Service team throughout each shutdown cycle from provision of budget estimate to submission of client reports.
• →Ensure sufficient manpower and resource levels are in place.
• →Be the primary contact for the service team and work with our existing and potential clients and Sales and Engineering teams to identify areas of improvement / potential service opportunities.
• →Develop and propose optimized client management strategies to generate ongoing service/sales revenue.
• →Coordinate and oversee a regular maintenance, calibration, cleaning and replacement program for all departmental tooling and equipment
• →Provide mentoring and feedback to all site personnel, ensuring they remain engaged and are making a safe and positive contribution to the service division.
• →Proactively manage field time to maintain shutdown currency and site stakeholder relationships.

• →Trade qualification – Mechanical Fitter / Boilermaker
• →Minimum of 5 years specific crushing experience
• →Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Supervisor/Project Manager in a service environment preferably with mineral processing equipment.
• →Ability to regularly travel to customer sites as required.
• →Proven people management skills and can effectively communicate at all levels of the organization.
• →Intermediate levels of computer literacy experience PRONTO highly regarded
• →Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• →Demonstrated commitment to safety and safety concepts
• →Be a self-starter and be able to work unsupervised
