As a Mechanical Apprentice, you'll get hands on with seriously impressive heavy machinery, learning from experienced engineers and developing the skills to keep our plants running safely and efficiently.

Get stuck in from day one

You'll be working alongside experienced engineers, getting hands on with real machinery and learning how things work in the real world.

You'll build practical skills in maintenance, fault finding and problem solving, while working towards a nationally recognised qualification.

Every day will bring something different. You'll have the chance to learn, ask questions, try things out and build your confidence as you go.

And because you'll be learning on the job, you'll see the impact of what you do straight away.

Who are we looking for?

You don't need to know everything about mechanical engineering already.

We're looking for people who are curious, practical and enjoy working things out. If you're the kind of person who likes getting stuck into a problem, understanding how things work and finding a way to fix them, we'd love to hear from you.

You'll also have the opportunity to show us what you can do through a practical skills assessment, giving you the chance to demonstrate your natural ability and problem solving skills.
