Overview

Premier Orthopaedics, in partnership with Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder, is seeking a dedicated and skilled APP to join our team in Paoli, PA. As two of the region’s most respected providers of orthopedic and upper extremity care, we offer a collaborative, patient-focused environment that prioritizes clinical excellence, innovation, and ongoing professional development.

Position Summary

Premier Orthopaedics is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant to join our team in Orthopaedic Urgent Care at Paoli, PA office. As a critical member of our healthcare team, you will collaborate with top-tier specialists, assist with diagnostics, and contribute to our patients’ comprehensive care journey. This is a PRN on-site role. We are seeking an APP to work 2 - 4 shifts/month (evenings and weekends).

Scheduling Needs:

Weeknights: 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Saturdays: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Sundays: 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care: Take detailed histories, perform assessments, and ensure patient needs are met with the highest quality care.
Diagnostic Procedures: Order, conduct, and interpret diagnostic tests to support comprehensive care planning.
Collaboration: Work alongside physicians to assess, develop, and implement effective treatment plans.
Documentation & Record Keeping: Keep accurate, up-to-date patient charts using Athena (or other EMR systems).
Medication Management: Administer prescribed medications and ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

Education:

Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
Bachelor’s degree required.

Licenses & Certifications:

Active and unrestricted Pennsylvania Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license (or eligibility to obtain).

Experience:

Minimum of 1 year as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, ideally in orthopaedics or a related field.
Familiarity with Athena or other EMR systems preferred.
