Physician - Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon

OSCW has specialists in most areas of orthopedics including hand/upper extremity, joint reconstruction, sports medicine, foot and ankle, and general orthopedics. In addition, we offer interventional pain management, neurology, physical therapy, and certified hand therapy.

• →Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations.
• →Utilize diagnostic tools such as MRI, CT scans, X-rays, and other imaging modalities to identify spinal disorders.
• →Develop and discuss appropriate treatment plans with patients, including surgical and non-surgical options.
• →Conduct advanced surgical techniques, including decompression, fusion, and disc replacement.
• →Monitor patients' recovery and manage postoperative complications.
• →Collaborate with physical therapists and other healthcare providers to optimize patient recovery.
• →Work closely with a multidisciplinary team.
• →Participate in case discussions and team meetings.
• →Stay updated with the latest advancements in spinal surgery and interventional techniques.
• →Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
• →Ensure compliance with hospital policies, medical regulations, and quality standards.
• →Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical protocols.

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.

• Completion of an accredited residency program in Orthopedic Surgery or Neurosurgery.
• Completion of a Spine Surgery fellowship.
• Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery or Neurosurgery.
• Valid medical license to practice in Wisconsin.
