Line Worker

• →Employees use a knife or scissors to cut up or debone chicken as it moves down the production line.
• →Checks for bones and excess fat attached.
• →Removes bones with a knife and pulls off the extra fat with the hand or trims it with the knife.
• →Participate as an active team member of production in assigned area.
• →Perform repetitive tasks as assigned.
• →Ensure compliance with established food safety programs, including HACCP programs, SSOPs and GMPs.
• →Effectively communicate with all levels of employees.
• →Follow all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• →Attend monthly or annual meetings and trainings as required.
• →Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or lead

• Must wear correct job specific PPE as designated by company policy
• Be able to work overtime when needed

Work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent to the time. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.  Often work in dusty, humid, and heated environments; as well as cold, moist environments.
