Senior Technical Product Manager, Agentic Computing Foundation

HP’s Agentic Computing Foundation team is building the software foundation for AI experiences across HP’s computing portfolio. We are looking for a Technical Product Manager to turn experience goals from HP’s business unit product teams into clear technical direction for the Agentic Computing Foundation. You will work with product partners to understand what users and customers need, then collaborate with architects and engineers to define the software capabilities, requirements, and engineering stories needed to deliver those experiences. 

This role operates at the intersection of product strategy and technical execution. You will help shape the roadmap for a shared software stack that supports agentic AI on PCs, including how AI workloads interact with device resources and when capabilities should run locally or in the cloud. You will connect requirements across teams, make trade-offs visible, and help ensure that individual features come together as a coherent, high-quality experience. 

• →Partner with HP business unit product teams to understand customer journeys, experience requirements, and priorities across commercial and consumer computing use cases. 
• →Translate experience goals into technical product requirements, acceptance criteria, and actionable engineering stories with architecture and development teams. 
• →Define and maintain a roadmap for foundation capabilities, aligning feature priorities, releases, and dependencies with broader HP product plans. 
• →Work with architects to evaluate solution options and trade-offs across on-device and cloud execution, model and service integration, APIs, performance, privacy, security, and enterprise manageability. 
• →Help prioritize capabilities that allow multiple AI workloads to run while preserving the PC experience under memory, compute, and thermal constraints. 
• →Coordinate with product owners, software engineers, design, and other stakeholders so features built on the shared foundation work together across products. 
• →Incorporate user feedback, technical findings, and ecosystem developments into product decisions; communicate priorities and changes clearly to stakeholders. 
• →Define measures of product quality and adoption, track delivery against outcomes, and surface risks and decisions early. 

• 7+ years of experience in technical product management, software product development, or a related role, with a record of bringing complex software capabilities from requirements through delivery. 
• Experience translating user or product experience requirements into technical specifications and engineering work in close partnership with software architects and developers. 
• Strong understanding of software platforms, APIs, system integration, and the trade-offs involved in building reusable capabilities for multiple products or teams. 
• Ability to build roadmaps, prioritize competing needs, manage cross-team dependencies, and make sound decisions amid ambiguity. 
• Clear communication with both business and technical audiences, including the ability to explain trade-offs and drive alignment across organizations. 
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 

• Experience with AI or ML platform products, agentic applications, or deploying and integrating AI models into software products. 
• Familiarity with edge and cloud architectures and the performance constraints of AI workloads on PCs or other devices. 
• Experience with enterprise software requirements such as security, privacy, deployment, and IT manageability. 
• Knowledge of hardware and software ecosystems, including how platform capabilities connect with internal products and third-party partners. 
• Experience using product metrics, customer feedback, and agile development practices to refine and deliver a technical roadmap.
