2–4 years of hands-on experience managing email and SMS marketing for DTC or e-commerce businesses, with strong proficiency in Klaviyo.
Proven experience building and managing lifecycle flows, including welcome, abandoned checkout, browse abandonment, post-purchase, winback, and replenishment flows.
Strong understanding of segmentation and deliverability fundamentals, including sender reputation, inbox placement, list hygiene, suppressions, and sunset logic.
Ability to brief designers and copywriters effectively and QA email and SMS creative before deployment.
Strong ability to analyze performance data, including revenue, open rates, click rates, conversion rates, and flow-level metrics, and use insights to improve performance.
Working knowledge of e-commerce platforms and analytics tools such as Shopify, Google Analytics, and Segmetrics.
Familiarity with email, push, and SMS platforms such as Klaviyo, PushOwl, Omnisend, Conversio, or GHL.
Proficiency with AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude to support research, content development, analysis, and workflow efficiency.
Working knowledge of Asana and Slack for project management and team communication.
Strong understanding of email and SMS marketing compliance, including CAN-SPAM and TCPA requirements.
Hands-on experience with dedicated SMS platforms such as Postscript or Attentive.
Experience working with regulated or high-scrutiny industries, such as CBD/THC, supplements, or telehealth, and an understanding of their email and SMS compliance requirements.
Strong understanding of Shopify and e-commerce economics, including AOV, LTV, and repeat purchase rate.
Basic HTML skills for email development.
Experience using Figma or Canva for email and creative asset edits.

Responsibilities

→Own and maintain core Klaviyo lifecycle flows across client accounts, including welcome, abandoned checkout, browse abandonment, post-purchase, winback, and replenishment flows.
→Manage the campaign calendar by planning, building, QAing, and scheduling email and SMS campaigns based on each client's promotional calendar.
→Own segmentation and deliverability by managing segments, suppressions, and sunset logic while protecting sender reputation and inbox placement.
→Direct the creative process by briefing designers and copywriters for each campaign and QAing final assets for brand consistency and compliance.
→Analyze campaign and flow performance, tracking revenue, open rates, click rates, conversion rates, and other key metrics, and use A/B testing to continuously improve results.
→Ensure all email and SMS campaigns comply with applicable regulations, including CAN-SPAM for email and TCPA for SMS, while maintaining claim-safe messaging for regulated accounts.
