SUMMARY

We succeed because every person at Colonial Electric enjoys their job and values their contribution to the company. Without skilled, punctual, and friendly delivery drivers, our operations would halt. So, the question is, do you enjoy driving a truck and do you enjoy people? If so, apply with us!

You’ll start your days early. First, you’ll supervise the on-loading of materials, then you’ll run through a pre-trip safety check. Along your route, you’ll frequently unload materials and connect with our customer base of commercial/industrial electrical contractors. You will also drop off and pick up material at our branch locations. When you arrive at each stop you will be responsible to unload material for the customer.

Every day is a little bit different, but you will enjoy a comfortable routine.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Ability to lift up to 50Lbs.
Ability to meet OSHA forklift requirements
Ability to pass DOT certification
Insurability through company insurance company
Ability to pass a Background & MVR screening
Valid Drivers License

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 2-3 years experience driving 26ft box trucks

HOURS

Monday-Friday | 4:00 am start time- 8 hour day
