Engineering Supervisor

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical or vocational training in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or related trades preferred.
• EPA, CPO, or HVAC certifications a plus.

• Minimum 2–4 years of maintenance or engineering experience in a hotel, resort, or commercial building.
• Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong background in building systems, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.

• Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and life-safety systems.
• Ability to lead and train maintenance staff.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, fire/life safety codes, and building compliance requirements.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Proficiency with CMMS/work order systems and Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and on-call rotations.

• →Assist with daily supervision of the engineering and maintenance team.
• →Assign, monitor, and inspect work orders to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• →Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• →Respond promptly to guestroom and public area maintenance requests.
• →Conduct routine property inspections and identify maintenance and safety concerns.
• →Support inventory management of tools, equipment, and replacement parts.
• →Assist in coordinating contracted services, inspections, and vendor repairs.
• →Ensure all engineering areas, mechanical rooms, and workshops remain clean, safe, and organized.
• →Maintain accurate records including PM logs, work orders, compliance documents, and safety inspections.
• →Support safety programs and ensure adherence to OSHA and fire/life safety standards.
• →Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering staff.
• →Assist with training new engineering team members.
• →Perform additional duties as assigned by engineering leadership.
