Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes.

Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
Ensure proper documentation and controls over sales, inventory, and cost of goods sold (COGS) transactions.
Coordinate and maintain accounting systems and procedures aligned with retail operations.
Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analyses.
Partner with operations and management to monitor financial performance against targets and identify improvement opportunities.

Manage internal and external audit requirements and related documentation.
Ensure compliance with tax laws, government reporting requirements, and corporate financial policies.
Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Supervise, train, and mentor accounting staff to build capability and performance.
Promote a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
Collaborate with cross-functional departments such as Operations, Procurement, and Marketing to align financial practices and support business objectives.
