Responsibilities

→Oversee daily accounting operations, including transaction recording, reconciliations, financial reporting, and monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing.
→Establish and improve accounting processes, internal controls, and financial policies covering cash handling, inventory, procurement, and expenses.
→Ensure accurate maintenance of financial records, including inventory, fixed assets, accounts payable/receivable, and other balance sheet accounts.
→Manage tax compliance, statutory reporting, tax filings, and coordination with external tax advisors, auditors, and government agencies.
→Support business growth through financial analysis, process improvements, accounting system/ERP implementation, and effective management of the finance team.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA license is required, with additional finance, accounting, or tax certifications considered an advantage.
At least 10 years of relevant accounting experience, including a minimum of 3 years in retail, preferably in a large-format retail environment.
Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial accounting role, with the ability to lead and develop a finance team.
Strong knowledge of Philippine accounting standards, tax regulations, financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance requirements.
Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel, with strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
