Assistant Manager – Finance Project Controls (CAPEX)

Office location: Quezon City

Work setup: Hybrid (4 days onsite, 1 day WFH)

Schedule: Monday to Friday, Dayshift

Role Overview

The Finance Associate Manager – Project Controllership is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely CAPEX financial reporting, closing, and compliance monitoring. The role supports project financial transparency through structured reporting, variance analysis, and strong control execution. It also contributes to improving financial processes and strengthening governance over CAPEX activities.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Certified Public Accountant.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in project accounting, construction accounting, or controllership roles
• Strong background in CAPEX accounting, reporting, and financial controls.
• Audit experience in infrastructure, utilities, construction, manufacturing, or real estate industries is preferred
• Experience in payables processing is an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
• Experience in SAP (FICO, MM, PS, or Asset Accounting modules) is preferred
• Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and with strong communication skills

Key Responsibilities

• Execute validation, review, and processing of CAPEX-related financial transactions aligned with approved budgets
• Support CAPEX budget tracking, analysis, and financial performance monitoring
• Ensure timely, complete, and accurate CAPEX month-end and year-end closing activities
• Prepare CAPEX financial reports, variance analysis, and compliance monitoring reports
• Maintain and enforce internal controls and governance over CAPEX accounts
• Support internal and external audit requirements and ensure audit compliance
• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and financial control effectiveness
