The Procurement and Warehouse Officer is responsible for managing procurement activities, warehouse operations, inventory control, and materials coordination to support the successful execution of engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) projects. The role ensures the timely sourcing, purchasing, storage, and distribution of materials, equipment, and supplies while maintaining accurate inventory records and efficient warehouse operations.
This position will play a key role in establishing and managing the company's new warehouse by developing inventory control processes, warehouse procedures, and material management systems that support operational efficiency and project delivery.
Responsibilities

- →Manage the end-to-end procurement process, from sourcing and supplier selection to purchasing and delivery of materials and equipment.
- →Source and negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing, favorable commercial terms, and quality products while ensuring timely delivery.
- →Prepare and process purchase requests, purchase orders, quotations, and other procurement documentation.
- →Coordinate closely with Engineering, Project Management, Operations, and Finance teams to ensure procurement activities align with project schedules and operational requirements.
- →Procure construction materials, electrical components, solar equipment, tools, consumables, and other project-related requirements.
- →Monitor purchase orders and supplier commitments to ensure on-time delivery and proactively resolve delays or supply issues.
- →Maintain supplier records and assist in vendor accreditation, evaluation, and performance monitoring.
- →Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, budget requirements, and procurement procedures.
Warehouse & Inventory Management
- →Oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storage, issuance, transfer, and inventory control of materials and equipment.
- →Spearhead the setup and implementation of the company's new warehouse, including warehouse layout, storage systems, inventory processes, and operational procedures.
- →Establish and maintain effective warehouse policies and material handling practices to ensure efficient operations.
- →Ensure proper receiving, inspection, labeling, storage, and safekeeping of all materials in accordance with company standards and manufacturer recommendations.
- →Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure all inventory transactions are properly documented.
- →Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits while reconciling inventory discrepancies.
- →Monitor stock levels and recommend replenishment to prevent shortages, excess inventory, and project disruptions.
- →Ensure the warehouse is organized, secure, and compliant with safety and housekeeping standards.
Materials Coordination & Project Support
- →Coordinate the timely issuance and delivery of materials, tools, and equipment to project sites based on approved schedules.
- →Monitor material movements between the warehouse, project sites, and suppliers, ensuring complete documentation for all transactions.
- →Work closely with project teams to forecast material requirements and support project execution timelines.
- →Track material consumption and provide regular inventory and procurement status reports to management.
- →Identify opportunities to improve procurement efficiency, inventory accuracy, warehouse utilization, and overall supply chain processes.
- →Assist in resolving material shortages, delivery concerns, and inventory-related issues to minimize project delays.
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in procurement, warehouse operations, inventory management, or supply chain functions.
- Experience supporting renewable energy, solar EPC, construction, engineering, electrical, manufacturing, or infrastructure projects is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of procurement best practices, inventory control, warehouse management, and supplier relationship management.
- Familiarity with procuring construction materials, electrical equipment, solar components, industrial supplies, or project-related materials is an advantage.
- Experience using ERP, inventory management, or procurement systems is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, for inventory tracking and reporting.
- Strong negotiation, planning, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
