The Project Development Officer is responsible for managing the planning and development of assigned real estate projects from initial evaluation through project turnover. The role focuses on project feasibility, financial analysis, market assessment, business planning, and cross-functional coordination to ensure projects are strategically positioned, financially viable, and successfully executed. This position works closely with internal stakeholders, consultants, and government agencies throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities

- →Conduct project feasibility studies, including financial, market, technical, and site analyses.
- →Evaluate project viability based on market demand, financial returns, regulatory requirements, and development potential.
- →Develop project concepts, business cases, and development strategies.
- →Coordinate the project approval process and prepare supporting documentation for management review.
- →Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.
- →Ensure projects are delivered within approved budget, timeline, and quality standards.
- Prepare preliminary financial analyses and investment evaluations for potential land acquisitions.
- Coordinate technical and legal due diligence activities with internal teams and external consultants.
- Assist in evaluating acquisition opportunities based on financial and commercial feasibility.
- Support the preparation of project development plans, implementation schedules, and launch timelines.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure project readiness prior to launch.
- Identify permits, licenses, and regulatory requirements necessary for project implementation.
- Prepare project financial models, pricing recommendations, and launch documentation.
- Assist in developing pricing strategies, payment terms, and revenue projections.
- Track project financial performance against approved business plans and profitability targets.
- Coordinate with Sales and Marketing teams to support project launches and monitor sales performance.
- Review project costs and recommend improvements to maximize project returns.
- Address issues affecting project implementation and facilitate timely resolution.
- Coordinate with Construction, Property Management, Customer Service, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth project turnover process.
- Support post-construction activities, project close-out, and budget reconciliation.
- Assist in resolving customer concerns related to project delivery when necessary.
- Collaborate with internal departments including Design, Construction, Finance, Sales & Marketing, Legal, and Property Management.
- Coordinate with external consultants, contractors, and government agencies regarding permits, approvals, inspections, and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Real Estate Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- At least 2–5 years of experience in project development, real estate development, feasibility analysis, investment analysis, or related functions.
- Experience in residential, commercial, mixed-use, or township developments is an advantage.
- Strong background in financial modeling, feasibility studies, market research, and business case preparation.
- Knowledge of the real estate development process, project planning, permitting, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analysis tools.
- Excellent analytical, project coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- CPA, MBA, or a real estate-related certification is an advantage but not required.
