Responsibilities

→Develop, lead, and implement Quality Management and Quality Assurance programs in line with regulatory, global, and customer standards.
→Ensure adherence to QA policies, GMP, Food Safety, HACCP, ISO, and other quality frameworks.
→Supervise QA operations, laboratory functions, and documentation to achieve quality objectives and sustain certifications.
→Promote product quality and food safety enhancements while supporting expansion projects, innovation efforts, and cost-efficiency initiatives.
→Manage departmental resources, budgeting, and capability-building plans.
→Lead, mentor, and assess QA staff; identify training needs and support professional development.
→Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, logistics partners, and government agencies (FDA, NMIS, BAI, BFAR, LGUs).

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering, or related disciplines.
Must be a licensed Chemist or Chemical Engineer.
A masters degree in a relevant field is an advantage.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Food QA, R&D, or Manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
Strong background in Food Science, Food Engineering, Chemistry, Microbiology, QA testing, and analytical methodologies.
Experience with QMS such as HACCP, ISO, and SPC; exposure to bakery or meat processing is a plus.
Work will be office- and plant-based, with possible fieldwork, external audits, inspections, and supplier visits.
