The Talent Sourcing Manager is responsible for leading the organization's sourcing function by developing and executing strategic talent attraction initiatives that support both immediate hiring requirements and long-term workforce planning objectives. This role oversees the identification, engagement, and pipeline development of high-quality talent across multiple functions, levels, and business units.
Working closely with Talent Acquisition, HR, and business leaders, the Talent Sourcing Manager drives proactive sourcing strategies, talent market intelligence, and candidate engagement efforts to ensure a strong and sustainable talent pipeline. The role also provides leadership to sourcing teams, promotes sourcing best practices, and leverages data-driven insights to improve hiring outcomes and recruitment efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Sourcing Strategy
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with business growth plans and workforce requirements.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical, recurring, and hard-to-fill positions across the organization.
- Utilize multiple sourcing channels, including professional networking platforms, job boards, social media, employee referrals, talent communities, and direct market research.
- Conduct talent mapping and competitor analysis to identify target talent pools and emerging market trends.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition teams to strengthen candidate generation efforts and improve overall recruitment effectiveness.
Team Leadership and Capability Building
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of sourcing specialists and recruitment professionals.
- Establish sourcing standards, performance metrics, and best practices across the team.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and service excellence.
- Support capability-building initiatives by providing coaching, training, and development opportunities.
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with hiring managers, HR Business Partners, and recruitment teams to understand current and future talent requirements.
- Provide market insights, talent availability assessments, and sourcing recommendations to support hiring decisions.
- Participate in workforce planning discussions and strategic talent acquisition initiatives.
Talent Intelligence and Market Insights
- Monitor labor market trends, talent movement, compensation benchmarks, and industry developments.
- Generate actionable market intelligence reports to support recruitment planning and business decision-making.
- Identify new sourcing opportunities and recommend innovative approaches to attract top talent.
Recruitment Analytics and Reporting
- Track and analyze sourcing performance metrics, including pipeline health, source effectiveness, candidate conversion rates, and hiring outcomes.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for leadership teams.
- Utilize data and insights to drive continuous improvement and optimize sourcing strategies.
Process Improvement and Innovation
- Evaluate and enhance sourcing processes, tools, and technologies to improve efficiency and candidate quality.
- Champion recruitment innovation and digital sourcing initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with recruitment policies, employment regulations, and internal governance standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or talent sourcing, including leadership experience.
- Demonstrated experience developing sourcing strategies and managing talent pipelines across various functions and organizational levels.
- Strong knowledge of talent mapping, candidate research, market intelligence, and direct sourcing methodologies.
- Experience utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, applicant tracking systems, recruitment CRM platforms, and other sourcing technologies.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and analytical skills.
- Experience in telecommunications, technology, BPO, shared services, manufacturing, or large corporate environments is preferred.
