Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Pediatric Clinical Educator-Nursing to join our team. The Educator-Nursing position provides in-depth knowledge and demonstration of technical skills pertinent to nursing and the specialty area of practice. The position is used to promote education and development of the direct care providers to enhance the quality of care to patients. Home hospital is St. John's, but will teach virtually throughout the system and will have travel throughout central IL for teaching.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in nursing is required.
Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice plus 3 years clinical experience may be considered in lieu of bachelor's degree.
Master’s degree in nursing or related field is preferred.

Four years of staff nurse or healthcare experience is required.

Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice is required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
PALS
Specialty certification is preferred.
